I love all the educational toys and videos for children that age. Baby Einstein makes lots of great things. I also like all the touch and feel books.

Question by grapelady911: How should I wrap this Christmas present?
I got my 17 yr old daughter the diamond and saphire ring she was asking for for Christmas. I want her to be surprised on Christmas morning, but I know if I just wrap it in its little box she will know exactly what it is. I have thought about the old box in a box in a box thing. I dont want to put it in her stocking, thats the 1st thing we all dig into on christmas morn. I was wondering if anyone had any better ideas.

So for Christmas I’ve decided to get my boyfriend of 1 1/2 years a sweater with a swarovski crystal charm sewed to the inside of its sleeve (hence the saying “my heart is on your sleeve”) and then I’m going to make him a friendship bracelet with his favorite colors, and give him a stocking full of little candies, and things that he likes. what do you guys think? is that good enough?

Question by IvyGarver: I am going out this weekend with the girls and planning on wearing the following?
A black (fitted) knit top with a grey skirt, it’s high waisted, fitted and sits on the knee. Then with black stockings and probably black high heeled boots. What accessories would you wear with this outfit?
Thanks for the ‘matronly’ comment, but it is Winter where I live and currently 4 degrees at night, so spaghetti strapped tops are out. I am also a 35 years old, not 18…………..

OK, first, I wouldn’t be WEARING the outfit.
The skirt sounds OK, but if you’re going out on the town, you don’t want to appear so matronly.
Jazz it up a bit. Depending on your skin color, you could put a red satin top with it that shows just a hint of cleavage. Pair it with some gold bangles and matching chandelier earrings and you’ve got a hott outfit!
Also…A rule of thumb. When wearing boots, it’s never wise to wear tights/pantyhose of the same color unless they’re patterned or fishnet.
*UPDATE* Didnt mean to offend with my matronly comment.
Dont wear a spaghetti strap. Wear a satin long sleeve collared (tailored) blouse that you can unbutton once you get to where you’re going.
BTW, age doesnt really have anything to do with it. Honey, life starts at thirty.
Flirty thirty is the shiznit.
